‘You should never underestimate exercise as an antidepressant’

Last week we had one of our amazing clients post in our “Members Only Area“ on Facebook saying she was ready to give in to the voice in her head, ready to just go home, get into bed and cry about all the horrible things she was having to try and deal with this week, along with, of course, family life, friends, work and everything else that comes with It 

However, she didn’t give in, she made the commitment and worked out

“You should never underestimate exercise as an antidepressant…today I was ready to give in to the stresses of the past few weeks at work and go home, crawl into bed and cry but I came in and I’m so glad I did. As soon as I started my exercises all my stresses and worries just vanished. In that hour I didn’t think about work, I didn’t think about getting the kids to bed or getting their uniform ready…I thought about me- just me!”
