3 healthy habits you should get rid of

There are many common fitness habits but its important to recognise they dont work for everyone. If its not working for you…get rid of them and move on.

Tracking ?️

Do you track how many calories you have burnt and then compare it to what you’ve eaten on MyFitness Pal? Although this works for some people, under eating and over exercising can cause stress to your body. Base your progress on how you feel in yourself, take before and after photos and look for progress there. Are you getting stronger and fitter? Stop tracking!


Restrictive Diets ??

It is all about a balanced diet. Have a little of everything. If you force yourself to let go of the foods you love you may well end up bingeing. Make a list of the food you love and treat yourself occasionally.


Make sure you enjoy it ?

Dont do something that you hate. Exercise and food are supposed to be enjoyable. Dont force yourself and instead find a way that makes it enjoyable. It takes 21 days to create a habit, work at it for 21 days, and if you hate it…try something else!
